Health and Safety Engineer, Except Mining Safety Engineers and Inspectors

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Health and Safety Engineer to oversee the implementation of safety protocols. You will ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and promote a culture of safety across our organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety training sessions for staff at all levels.
• Conduct regular safety audits and inspections.
• Monitor compliance with OSHA regulations and other safety standards.
• Implement safety improvement initiatives across departments.
• Develop incident investigation processes to identify root causes.
• Ensure safety management systems are effectively maintained.
• Communicate safety performance metrics to management.
• Act as a safety liaison between the company and regulatory agencies.
• Facilitate safety committees and maintain safety records.
• Promote a proactive safety culture throughout the organization.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a related field, Master's degree preferred
• Additional certifications in safety-related fields advantageous

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in safety engineering or compliance management
