Job Description
Join our team as an Electro-Mechanical and Mechatronics Technologist, where you'll leverage your technical skills to ensure instrumentation and electrical systems remain in optimal working condition through diligent inspections and maintenance.
Responsibilities
Perform regular preventive maintenance inspections on instrumentation and electrical equipment to ensure functionality.
Identify and resolve equipment malfunctions or issues effectively.
Create and maintain detailed inspection reports and documentation.
Follow safety procedures and standards rigorously.
Collaborate with maintenance teams to schedule and prioritize inspections effectively.
Provide technical support and recommendations for equipment improvements.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
Train and mentor junior inspectors to enhance team capabilities.
Assist in the implementation of new technologies and maintenance strategies.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the maintenance department.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
Certification in Instrumentation and Electrical Inspection is desired
Experience
Minimum of 3 years of experience in preventive maintenance inspections for instrumentation and electrical equipment.
Technical Skills
Strong knowledge of instrumentation and electrical systems
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals
Attention to detail and accuracy
Proficiency in using testing and diagnostic equipment
Knowledge of preventive maintenance principles
Strong understanding of safety regulations

English: Fluent
Advantageous
Experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry: Familiarity with manufacturing processes and standards can be an asset.

Experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting: Hands-on experience with PLCs is a plus.
