Responsibilities

• Evaluate and enforce compliance with fire safety laws and regulations.
• Prepare reports on fire hazards identified during inspections.
• Facilitate training programs for staff and community education.
• Research and implement best practices for fire safety.
• Act as a liaison between the community and fire safety authorities.
• Support the development of fire safety plans for new constructions.
• Assist in emergency drills and response simulations.
• Conduct follow-up visits to ensure resolution of identified hazards.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Fire Science or related discipline
• Additional fire safety certifications are an asset

Experience

• 2-4 years of experience in fire prevention and safety

Certifications

• Fire Safety Manager Certified
