Job Description
In this pivotal role, you will lead the team at our adult family home, providing comprehensive management and support. You will be responsible for staff oversight, resident care coordination, and ensuring a safe, nurturing environment for all.
Responsibilities
Oversee daily management and operations of the adult family home, ensuring a high standard of care.
Lead staff recruitment, training, and performance management processes.
Establish protocols that adhere to local and federal regulations affecting adult family homes.
Engage with residents and their families to foster a welcoming and supportive atmosphere.
Ensure effective communication within the team and with external stakeholders.
Conduct regular assessments of resident care plans to ensure optimal health and well-being.
Implement safety and emergency procedures to protect residents and staff.
Manage financial records related to the program, including budgeting and expenditures.
Facilitate ongoing staff training and development opportunities.
Promote an inclusive culture that values diversity and respect.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in a related field
Master's degree in Healthcare Administration is preferred
Experience
5+ years of experience in healthcare management roles, preferably involving seniors or special needs populations.
