Distribution Dispatcher

Job Description

Join our logistics team as a Distribution Dispatcher. In this role, you will ensure that our deliveries are prompt and efficient, all while providing excellent service to our customers and ensuring that safety standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Monitor delivery progress and address any issues promptly.
• Collaborate with team members to improve delivery efficiency.
• Document all delivery activity and maintain organized records.
• Facilitate communication between drivers, customers, and warehouse teams.
• Evaluate delivery performance and suggest process enhancements.
• Conduct regular audits of delivery schedules and compliance.
• Assist with route optimization using GPS and routing software.
• Provide timely feedback to drivers and support team members.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Bachelor's degree in Logistics or related field preferred

Experience

• 3 or more years in logistics or dispatching roles

Technical Skills

• Microsoft Office Suite
• Data Entry

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with refrigerated or hazardous materials: Knowledge of safe handling and transportation of special materials.
