Job Description

As a Wood Repatcher, you will take on the pivotal role of repairing and restoring wooden surfaces. This hands-on position requires a keen eye for detail and a solid understanding of woodworking techniques, ensuring that all work is performed to high standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of wooden surfaces needing repair.
• Utilize hand and power tools to repair, sand, and stain surfaces.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure quality control during restoration.
• Document all repairs conducted and maintain accurate records of materials used.
• Interact with clients to provide updates on project status and gather feedback.
• Stay updated with the latest wooden restoration techniques and materials.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a specialized woodworking program is an advantage

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a similar role

Technical Skills

• Experience with antique furniture restoration
• Familiarity with different wood finishes
• Skillful in using various woodworking tools

Soft Skills

• Analytical problem-solving
• Adaptable communication skills

Languages

• English: Fluent
