Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Transmission Engineer eager to become part of our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining state-of-the-art transmission systems, ensuring reliability and performance in our communications network.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage high-speed transmission systems.
• Monitor system performance and ensure compliance with network standards.
• Develop strategies for optimizing transmission capacity and quality.
• Work with vendors to evaluate and recommend new transmission technologies.
• Generate and present regular reports on system performance and improvements.
• Respond promptly to network alarms and maintain service level agreements.
• Engage in continuous learning to keep up with technological advancements.
• Support field operations with installation and troubleshooting tasks.
• Contribute to team meetings with insights for network improvements.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications or a related field

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in transmission engineering preferred

• Fiber Optic Design
• Network Security

Certifications

• JNCIA
• Certified Fiber Optic Technician (CFOT)

Languages

• English: Fluent
