Job Description
Join our dynamic energy team as a Power Plant Technician. You will oversee the maintenance and troubleshooting of power generation equipment, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and optimal performance.
Responsibilities
Monitor the operation of power generation equipment, including turbines and boilers.
Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with equipment and systems.
Follow all safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
Ensure communication with team members regarding equipment performance.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
Provide regular reports to management on equipment status.
Lead troubleshooting efforts and emergency repairs.
Assist in the implementation of energy-saving initiatives.
Stay updated on industry standards and regulations.
Requirements
Education
High school diploma or equivalent
Technical certification in power generation (preferred)
Experience
Experience working with gas turbines and boilers is a plus.
