Job Description

Join our team as a Mobile Heavy Equipment Mechanic, responsible for ensuring the safety and efficiency of construction machinery. You will inspect, troubleshoot, and repair various types of heavy equipment, delivering top-notch mechanical services to enhance our operations.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough inspections and maintenance on a variety of heavy equipment.
  • Perform diagnostic tests and troubleshoot problems with machinery.
  • Maintain accurate records of service and repairs performed on all equipment.
  • Collaborate with the field team to ensure timely repairs and minimal downtime.
  • Train and mentor junior mechanics as part of development programs.
  • Implement safety measures and participate in safety audits.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and new technologies in equipment maintenance.
  • Occasionally travel to different job sites as required.
  • Assist in the setup and calibration of new equipment.
  • Work with vendors to source parts and services when needed.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Certification in heavy machinery repair is preferred
Experience
  • 3-7 years of hands-on experience with construction machinery.
