Digester Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Digester Operator to manage the process of converting wood chips into pulp at our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and internal policies.
• Assist in the development of operational guidelines.
• Support the production supervisor in daily operational planning.
• Provide feedback on equipment performance and issues.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Associates degree in Industrial Technology or equivalent is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing setting with digester experience.

• Mechanical Understanding

Certifications

• Safety Training Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with Biofuels Production: Knowledge of processes related to bioenergy production.
