Boatbuilder Supervisor

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Boatbuilder Supervisor to lead our boatbuilding team. The ideal candidate will ensure the efficient and timely completion of projects while adhering to safety and quality standards. This role involves supervising daily operations, staff training, and coordination among various departments.

Responsibilities

• Directly oversee the activities of the boatbuilding crew.
• Review and finalize designs to meet client specifications.
• Ensure all safety practices are followed throughout the building process.
• Maintain records of project activities and material usage.
• Train new employees on company standards and practices.
• Work with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of supplies.
• Actively resolve team conflicts and operational issues.
• Continuously improve processes to enhance efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Certification in boatbuilding or related field preferred

Experience

• 5+ years in boatbuilding or a related field, with supervisory experience preferred.
