Coke Inspector

Job Description

As a Coke Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety. Your responsibilities will include inspecting and testing coke products, recording results, and collaborating with the production team.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and evaluate coke products at various stages of production.
• Test samples for quality assurance using industry-specific equipment.
• Record findings and prepare reports for management review.
• Work closely with production and quality assurance teams to resolve issues.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Assist in maintaining laboratory and testing equipment.
• Conduct audits to ensure adherence to company standards.
• Collaborate on development of testing protocols.
• Train staff on quality inspection techniques.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or GED
• Experience in quality control or a related field preferred

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in coke production or testing preferred

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of safety, quality, and environmental standards
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Soft Skills

• Good communication skills
• Willingness to work flexible hours as needed

Certifications

• Quality control training
• OSHA training certificate

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Certification in quality management: Demonstrated knowledge of quality management systems.
• Experience with statistical process control (SPC): Understanding of SPC methodologies for manufacturing.
