Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Foundry Mold and Coremaker to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in the manufacturing process by making molds and cores, ensuring quality standards are met while working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate molding equipment to create molds with precision.
• Monitor production quality, ensuring products meet specifications.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment as needed.
• Collaborate with other teams to streamline production.
• Document production data and report any discrepancies.
• Train new employees on mold-making procedures.
• Participate in safety audits and contribute to a safe work environment.
• Maintain inventory of molds and materials used in production.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance workflow.
• Assist in research for mold design improvements.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Vocational training in Manufacturing is desirable

Experience

• 2-4 years of foundry experience preferred.

Technical Skills

• Quality Control
• Blueprint Reading

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Communication

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with CNC machinery.: Experience operating CNC machines for mold production.
• Mechanical aptitude.: Strong understanding of mechanical components and systems used in manufacturing.
