Job Description

As a Shuttle Route Vehicle Operator, you will be responsible for transporting passengers along designated routes in a safe and timely manner. Your role involves routine vehicle maintenance and ensuring compliance with traffic laws. We are looking for individuals with strong communication and driving skills to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Ensure passenger safety by driving defensively and responsibly.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Adhere to the assigned shuttle routes and schedules without delay.
• Enforce compliance with traffic laws, zoning regulations, and company policies.
• Help passengers with special needs to navigate safely.
• Communicate effectively with passengers and provide updates on routes.
• Respond to passenger inquiries with professionalism and courtesy.
• Keep accurate records of trips and maintenance logs.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience driving commercial vehicles.

Technical Skills

• Excellent driving skills
• Vehicle maintenance knowledge

Soft Skills

• Communication
• Time management

Certifications

• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
• Defensive Driving Certification (preferred)

Languages

• English: Fluent
