Responsibilities

• Support pharmacists in medication preparation and dispensing tasks.
• Manage inventory, ensuring medications and supplies are adequately stocked.
• Answer customer questions and provide support for prescription-related inquiries.
• Process billing transactions and assist with insurance claims.
• Update and maintain accurate patient records.
• Adhere to pharmacy regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
• Perform cash register duties and handle transactions appropriately.
• Keep the pharmacy workspace organized and clean.
• Work with other healthcare team members to enhance patient care.
• Assist with various administrative tasks as necessary.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a pharmacy technician training program is preferred

Experience

• Prior experience as a pharmacy technician or aide is preferred.
