Refining Equipment Operator

Job Description

As a Refining Equipment Operator, you'll be responsible for the operation and maintenance of refining equipment. This role plays a critical part in ensuring that the production process is efficient, safe, and compliant with all relevant regulations.

Responsibilities

• Operate refining machinery as per safety and operational guidelines.
• Conduct equipment inspections and preventive maintenance tasks.
• Identify and rectify equipment performance issues quickly.
• Ensure all operations adhere to safety regulations.
• Work with maintenance staff for equipment modifications and repairs.
• Log operational data and maintenance records diligently.
• Attend training workshops to stay updated on industry standards.
• Collaborate with colleagues to achieve production goals.
• Propose efficiency improvements to refining processes.
• Maintain quality assurance protocols at all stages of production.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical training or vocational certificate in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in the oil and gas industry is preferred.

Technical Skills

• Understanding of safety protocols
• Ability to operate SCADA systems

Soft Skills

• Strong communication skills
• Teamwork abilities

Certifications

• OSHA safety training certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
