Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Shake Out Worker to join our team. This individual will play a vital role in ensuring the quality of our manufacturing processes by removing excess sand from finished castings. The ideal candidate will have physical stamina and the ability to perform repetitive tasks while adhering to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Utilize shake out machines efficiently to ensure maximum output.
• Conduct regular inspections of castings to ensure quality.
• Follow waste disposal procedures for sand and debris.
• Ensure all machines are well-maintained and safe to operate.
• Keep the work area organized and safe for all employees.
• Follow all safety regulations and guidelines to prevent accidents.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors about production issues.
• Achieve production goals while ensuring high-quality outcomes.
• Work alongside team members to streamline shake out processes.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives in the production area.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Previous experience in foundry operations is advantageous
