Job Description

We are seeking dedicated Shoe Machine Operators and Tenders to join our production team. The ideal candidates should have hands-on experience in operating sewing machines with a strong attention to detail, ensuring the creation of high-quality footwear.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate various sewing machines for manufacturing footwear.
  • Conduct quality checks on finished products for defects and compliance with standards.
  • Maintain detailed records of production outputs and machine performance.
  • Assist in training new operators on machine usage and safety procedures.
  • Troubleshoot minor issues with sewing machines as they arise.
  • Store raw materials and finished products properly to minimize waste.
  • Collaborate with the quality assurance team to implement improvements.
  • Follow production schedules and deadlines to ensure timely output.

Requirements

Education
  • Post-secondary education in textile or manufacturing technology is preferred
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in the footwear manufacturing industry
Technical Skills
  • Industrial sewing machine maintenance
  • Technical drawing interpretation

Languages
  • English: Fluent
