Job Description

The Inclusion Teacher is key to supporting students with special educational needs within our mainstream classroom. This role involves providing individualized instruction, adapting learning materials, and collaborating with general education teachers to create an inclusive environment.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with general education teachers to develop inclusive lesson plans.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting interventions as necessary.
  • Implement assistive technologies and accommodations for students.
  • Work with IEP teams on behavior management and social-emotional strategies.
  • Communicate regularly with parents about student achievements.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development in inclusive education.
  • Utilize data-driven instruction methods to enhance learning outcomes.
