Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Short-Term Substitute Teacher to provide temporary instructional support. Your role will ensure a smooth learning experience and uphold a positive classroom environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support classroom management and maintain a positive learning atmosphere.
  • Follow lesson plans while being flexible to adjust based on student needs.
  • Provide feedback to students and assist them with their academic progress.
  • Communicate effectively with school staff to ensure continuity in learning.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching strategies.
  • Assist with administrative duties as required, including reporting attendance.
  • Participate in school activities and events to build community and rapport.
  • Embrace new teaching tools and technologies to foster student engagement.
  • Facilitate inclusiveness by adapting to different learning styles.
  • Stay informed about school policies and procedures to follow them accurately.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
  • Teaching certification or substitute teaching permit
Experience
  • Prior experience in teaching or working with students is preferred.
