Angle Furnaceman

Job Description

As an Angle Furnaceman, you will operate and maintain furnaces in an industrial setting. Your role will involve ensuring that the furnaces are running efficiently and safely, while troubleshooting any issues that may arise.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections of furnace operations.
• Respond promptly to equipment malfunctions.
• Assist in developing maintenance schedules.
• Train new team members on equipment operation.
• Implement best practices for operational efficiency.
• Lead safety meetings and training.
• Manage inventory of parts and materials for repairs.
• Conduct quality control checks on products.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Post-secondary training in Industrial Maintenance is an advantage

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in a similar role.

Technical Skills

• Data Acquisition Software
• CMMS

Certifications

• Forklift Operator Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Associate's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field: Educational background that enhances technical understanding.
