Job Description

An interventional radiologist is a highly skilled medical professional who utilizes imaging techniques to perform minimally invasive procedures. In this role, you will be working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions, ensuring excellent patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct minimally invasive procedures with precision and care.
  • Evaluate patient histories and imaging results to determine appropriate interventions.
  • Collaborate with surgical teams during complex cases.
  • Educate patients about their conditions and treatment options.
  • Involve in quality assurance practices to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Contribute to departmental meetings to discuss cases and share knowledge.

Requirements

Education
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO)
  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited Radiology residency program
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in interventional radiology is typically required.
