Extraction Worker (Nozzleman)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Extraction Worker (Nozzleman) to join our dynamic construction team in Toms River, NJ. The ideal candidate will operate and maintain concrete pumps while ensuring successful concrete placement. This role requires strong communication skills and a commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor concrete pumps during placement activities.
• Collaborate with operators and other construction team members to achieve project goals.
• Adhere to safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment.
• Document and report any issues or delays in the concrete placement process.
• Assist in ensuring all equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.
• Contribute to a team-oriented work environment with effective communication.
• Train others in proper nozzle operation and safety practices.
• Conduct inspections to ensure equipment is functioning correctly.
• Facilitate pre-job briefings with the team to review safety and operational protocols.
• Maintain a positive attitude and work ethic in a high-paced environment.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Additional training in construction or heavy machinery operation is a plus.

Experience

• Experience in operating and maintaining concrete pumps preferred.
