Hoist and Winch Operators

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Hoist and Winch Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for rigging up and rigging down equipment, ensuring equipment is functioning properly, and maintaining safety standards at all times.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and dismantle rigs on customer locations.
• Train team members on rigging techniques and safety protocols.
• Inspect equipment before and after usage to ensure optimal performance.
• Coordinate with other team members to ensure smooth operations.
• Provide hands-on support during critical operations.
• Adhere to environmental and safety regulations at all times.
• Report any safety hazards or equipment failures immediately.
• Participate in safety drills and training sessions.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in hoisting and rigging operations

Technical Skills

• Hydraulic Systems Knowledge
• Safety Compliance

Soft Skills

• Effective Communication
• Adaptability

Certifications

• First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Prior experience as a crane operator: Experience operating cranes or similar heavy equipment is advantageous.
• Certification in First Aid and CPR: Having first aid and CPR certification is a plus.
