Job Description

As an Occupational Health and Safety Specialist, you will oversee workplace safety regulations and ensure that our facilities adhere to the highest standards of health and safety. You will play a pivotal role in identifying potential hazards and implementing effective safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Conduct risk assessments and safety audits regularly.
• Monitor employee compliance with safety procedures and regulations.
• Advocate for workplace health and safety improvements.
• Develop safety awareness campaigns and training materials.
• Prepare reports for management detailing safety performance and initiatives.
• Engage with employees to gather feedback on safety practices.
• Collaborate with emergency response teams for drill exercises.
• Implement safety improvement initiatives based on industry best practices.
• Provide expert guidance on health and safety legislation.
• Ensure safety equipment is available and maintained.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field
• Relevant certifications in safety management are preferred

Experience

• 3-7 years of experience in safety auditing or compliance roles
