Job Description

As a Helper--Extraction Worker, you will play a crucial role in the operation of heavy machinery and the management of landfill sites. This role involves ensuring compliance with environmental regulations while maintaining the safety and efficiency of waste management operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of waste management processes.
• Inspect machinery and equipment for safety and functionality.
• Implement safety protocols and training for staff.
• Coordinate with environmental specialists to ensure compliance.
• Participate in safety meetings and trainings.
• Support the recycling and proper disposal of materials.
• Engage with the local community on waste management practices.
• Assist in the maintenance and repair of the landfill site.
• Evaluate and recommend improvements to existing operations.
• Protect water sources and wildlife in the landfill area.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in waste management operations.

Technical Skills

• Mechanical Skills

Certifications

• Forklift Operator Certification
• First Aid/CPR Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
