Job Description

As a Railroad Signal Operator, you will be vital in maintaining the safety and efficiency of our railroad signaling systems. This role involves monitoring track switches, signals, and communication systems crucial for the safe movement of trains.

Responsibilities

  • Track the operation of signaling systems to prevent accidents.
  • Ensure compliance with federal regulations regarding railroad operations.
  • Work closely with engineering and maintenance teams to address issues.
  • Keep detailed logs of signaling system performance and maintenance.
  • Participate in training programs to maintain certification.
  • Assist with troubleshooting and repairs of electrical components.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Railroad signaling training certification preferred
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in the railroad industry preferred.
