Job Description

As an Eating Disorder Psychologist at ACME Health Services, you will provide compassionate care and develop tailored treatment interventions for patients facing eating disorders. We value collaboration and continuous improvement to enhance our treatment programs.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and diagnose eating disorders through comprehensive evaluations.
  • Create and adjust treatment plans based on ongoing assessments.
  • Lead individual and group therapy sessions to facilitate recovery.
  • Engage in regular supervision and consultation with clinical peers.
  • Provide psychoeducation to clients about the nature of eating disorders.
  • Document patient interactions and treatment outcomes accurately.
  • Foster a supportive and therapeutic environment in line with best practices.
  • Address patients' needs through adaptive and responsive care strategies.
  • Collaborate on multidisciplinary team meetings to share insights and strategies.
  • Promote awareness and prevention of eating disorders within the community.

Requirements

Education
  • Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, or related field
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure as a psychologist in Texas
  • Specialization in eating disorders preferred
Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in clinical practice with expertise in eating disorders.
