Job Description

As an Armored Assault Vehicle Officer, you will be at the forefront of amphibious operations, leading a team of Marines while ensuring the effective operation and maintenance of Assault Amphibious Vehicles. Your leadership will be vital in preparing for deployments and executing missions.

Responsibilities

• Lead AAV operations during exercises and deployments.
• Train junior Marines on vehicle operation and safety protocols.
• Plan and coordinate amphibious operations under varying conditions.
• Monitor vehicle performance and facilitate timely repairs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for mission success.
• Prepare detailed reports on operations and vehicle status.
• Assess risks and implement safety measures during operations.
• Participate in continuous training to enhance operational capabilities.
• Act as a liaison between units during joint missions.
• Evaluate and improve training processes for new recruits.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as engineering or military science
• Completion of Officer Candidate School is essential

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in AAV operations and maintenance required.
