Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Core Setter to join our production team in Detroit. In this critical role, you will be responsible for setting and aligning cores in various machinery to ensure optimal performance and adherence to quality control standards.

Responsibilities

  • Carefully align and set cores in machinery as per engineering drawings.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of core integrity.
  • Secure cores to prevent movement during the production process.
  • Adjust machinery for different core sizes and specifications.
  • Document all core setting activities accurately.
  • Engage with the production team to enhance core setting efficiency.
  • Perform regular maintenance checks on machinery.
  • Identify and resolve core setting defects promptly.
  • Follow all mandated safety protocols and practices.
  • Consistently achieve production goals while ensuring quality.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Technical certification is a plus
Experience
  • At least 2 years of experience in core setting or similar role
