Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacist to join our pharmacy team in San Antonio, TX. In this role, you will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing patient consultations, and ensuring compliance with pharmacy regulations. The ideal candidate should have a passion for patient care and a commitment to improving health outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of pharmaceutical care for patients.
  • Provide drug and health information to patients and caregivers.
  • Assist in drug inventory management and controls.
  • Engage in direct patient care and health promotion activities.
  • Conduct medication therapy management services.
  • Evaluate drug interactions and contraindications.
  • Implement cost-effective therapeutic strategies.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the pharmacy.

Requirements

Education
  • Pharm.D. with a focus on clinical pharmacy
  • Pharmacy residency or fellowship is a plus
Experience
  • At least 3 years of pharmacy practice experience.
