Job Description

As a First-Line Supervisor of Production and Operating Workers, you will lead a team of assembly workers in managing daily production tasks, ensuring product quality, and maintaining a safe work environment. This role requires strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of assembly processes.

Responsibilities

  • Guide assembly workers to ensure high-quality output while maintaining productivity.
  • Oversee maintenance of assembly machinery and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
  • Conduct regular training sessions for new and existing employees.
  • Analyze production data to monitor performance and implement necessary adjustments.
  • Act as a liaison between management and assembly staff to communicate expectations and feedback.
  • Foster a team-oriented work environment focused on continuous improvement.
  • Respond to production issues and implement corrective measures.
  • Conduct employee performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of production processes and employee training.
  • Support the development of operational strategies to enhance productivity and efficiency.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing or Engineering is a plus
Experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a supervisory role in a production environment
