Job Description

As the Wind Energy Operations Manager, you will take the lead in overseeing environmental policies within our offshore wind energy projects. This position is integral to ensuring that operations adhere to environmental regulations while striving to minimize impact. Your role will involve collaboration with cross-functional teams, where you will tackle environmental challenges and devise innovative solutions to enhance sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of environmental policies and operational procedures.
• Ensure environmental audits are conducted regularly and issues are promptly addressed.
• Implement best practices for environmental protection during project lifecycle.
• Facilitate communication between various teams regarding environmental goals.
• Coordinate with external consultants for expert environmental assessments.
• Review project designs for compliance with environmental standards.
• Establish environmental training programs for employees and contractors.
• Promote community outreach and education on sustainability efforts.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to minimize environmental footprints.
• Assess sustainability impacts of renewable technologies used in projects.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or related field
• Master's degree in a relevant field is a significant advantage

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years in environmental compliance and project management
