Job Description

As a Brownfield Redevelopment Specialist, you will play a critical role in managing and executing remediation projects to restore contaminated sites. Your expertise will guide our team in compliance with environmental regulations while engaging with clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the execution of remediation strategies tailored for brownfield sites.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to assess compliance and progress.
  • Prepare and present technical reports to stakeholders.
  • Facilitate environmental risk assessments and mitigation strategies.
  • Work with municipal and government partners on public projects.
  • Ensure that all appropriate documentation is completed and submitted timely.
  • Train and develop junior staff in best practices for remediation.
  • Manage community relations and address public concerns regarding projects.
  • Advise on the selection of remediation technologies and methods.
  • Support grant applications and funding proposals for project financing.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Advanced degree preferred

  • 8+ years with a focus on brownfield redevelopment
