Job Description

The MIS Director is pivotal in overseeing the management and implementation of information systems. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical proficiency, and a strategic vision to ensure systems align with organizational goals.

Responsibilities

  • Formulate and implement the overall technological strategy of the organization.
  • Maintain robust cybersecurity measures to protect sensitive information.
  • Manage vendor relationships for software and hardware procurement.
  • Lead cross-functional teams on IT projects, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Prepare and manage the IT department's budget and financial forecasts.
  • Conduct performance reviews for IT staff and support their professional development.
  • Implement IT best practices and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Define and enforce IT policies and procedures.
  • Ensure the effective integration of new technologies into existing systems.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Master's degree is a plus
Experience
  • 7+ years in IT management, with a proven track record.
