Activities Director

Job Description

The Activities Director will be responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing engaging programs for our residents. This role involves overseeing a team of activity coordinators, ensuring that all activities cater to the needs and interests of our community members.

Responsibilities

• Design inclusive programs that cater to the diverse backgrounds and abilities of residents.
• Oversee the logistical aspects of organizing events, including scheduling and materials.
• Create a safe and welcoming atmosphere for all participants.
• Track attendance and feedback for future programming improvements.
• Engage with families to enhance their involvement in community activities.
• Mentor and guide activity coordinators in their roles.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Recreation Management or related field
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in senior living or healthcare.

Technical Skills

Certifications

• CPR and First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
