Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Logging Operations Inspector responsible for ensuring safety and compliance in logging activities. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of safety regulations and the ability to inspect operations effectively.
Responsibilities
Lead inspections across various logging sites to ensure safety compliance.
Conduct risk assessments and recommend improvements.
Report findings to upper management and suggest training programs.
Champion environmental responsibility in logging operations.
Provide insights on regulatory updates to the logging teams.
Focus on continuous improvement for safety protocols.
Support training initiatives for new logging employees.
Maintain a strong communication channel with crew leaders.
Utilize GIS tools for accurate data collection and reporting.
Engage in community outreach efforts promoting sustainable logging.
Requirements
Education
Master's degree in Forestry or Environmental Studies preferred
Experience
At least 2-3 years of logging compliance experience preferred.
