Job Description

We are seeking a highly qualified Social Work Teacher to shape the next generation of social work professionals. Responsibilities include curriculum development, student advisement, and contributing to departmental initiatives that enhance our educational offerings.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging lectures on social work principles, theory, and practice.
  • Conduct high-quality research in areas relevant to social work.
  • Mentor and advise students on academic and career paths.
  • Develop, assess, and revise course curricula to enhance learning outcomes.
  • Participate in department committees and contribute to program planning.
  • Facilitate community engagement and outreach initiatives.
  • Publish scholarly articles and present research findings at conferences.
  • Foster an inclusive and diverse classroom environment.
  • Guide students in field placements and practical training.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support interdisciplinary learning.

Requirements

Education
  • Ph.D. in Social Work or a related field
  • Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) required
Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience at the university level.
