Job Description

As an Ophthalmology Physician, you'll provide specialized medical care focusing on the diagnosis and treatment of eye disorders. This role involves conducting comprehensive examinations, performing surgeries, and educating patients on their eye health.

Responsibilities

  • Examine patients' eyes and diagnose conditions.
  • Perform surgical interventions and follow up on patient recovery.
  • Develop and administer treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
  • Educate patients about their conditions and preventive measures.
  • Collaborate with optometrists and specialists for holistic care.
  • Document patient interactions and maintain compliance with regulations.
  • Participate in clinical trials to contribute to research and advancements in the field.
  • Engage in community outreach programs to promote eye health awareness.
  • Participate in peer reviews and continuous professional development.
  • Contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures.

Requirements

Education
  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school
  • Fellowship training in a subspecialty is preferred
Experience
  • 5 years of experience or more in ophthalmology practice
