Rackman

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Rackman to join our operations team. The Rackman will oversee the management and maintenance of our server racks and associated equipment, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing assessments of server performance and conditions.
• Develop and implement best practices for server rack management.
• Provide technical support to team members as necessary.
• Assist with the integration of new technologies into existing infrastructure.

Requirements

Education

• Technical degree in IT or related field

Experience

• 3+ years of relevant experience preferred

Technical Skills

• Data center experience
• Knowledge of virtualization technologies

Soft Skills

• Analytical thinking
• Strong communication skills

Advantageous

• Prior experience with data center operations: Experience managing day-to-day operations in a data center environment.
• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure: Familiarity with public cloud services such as AWS or Azure.
