Job Description

A Glue Cook plays a crucial role in the manufacturing process, responsible for preparing and applying adhesive materials efficiently. This position requires keen attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols to ensure high-quality output while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and apply adhesive solutions per production requirements.
  • Supervise equipment to ensure effective adhesive application.
  • Conduct quality checks on adhesive bonds in finished products.
  • Record and track adhesive inventory levels accurately.
  • Work with the production supervisor to streamline adhesive processes.
  • Execute safety and cleanliness protocols consistently.
  • Resolve any adhesive-related production issues promptly.
  • Conduct maintenance checks on adhesive application machinery.
  • Research new adhesive technologies and methods.
  • Train new operators in adhesive preparation and application methods.

Requirements

Education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Certification in adhesive application techniques preferred
Experience
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in adhesive application or manufacturing environment.
Technical Skills
  • Comfortable working with various adhesive materials
  • Knowledge of safety protocols
Soft Skills
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects
Certifications
  • Certified Adhesive Application Technician
Languages
  • English: Fluent
