Job Description

As a Cleaner of Vehicles and Equipment, you will play a crucial role in our operations by collecting and recovering valuable materials from discarded machinery, equipment, and vehicles. You will identify salvage opportunities, dismantle structures, and transport materials for processing.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and identify usable parts from discarded vehicles and equipment.
• Safely operate tools and machinery for dismantling processes.
• Work with team members to streamline salvage operations.
• Adhere to all safety and environmental guidelines.
• Conduct routine inspections to ensure equipment safety.
• Document daily activities and material recovery processes.
• Assist in training new staff on salvage practices.
• Collaborate with recycling coordinators to optimize processes.
• Communicate effectively with team members regarding project status.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss salvage strategies.

Requirements

Education

• High School diploma or equivalent

Experience

• 1-3 years of experience in salvage, recycling, or waste management preferred

Technical Skills

• Mechanical Aptitude
• Safety Protocol Knowledge

Soft Skills

Certifications

• OSHA Certification preferred

Languages

• English: Fluent
