Job Description

We are looking for a knowledgeable Soil and Plant Scientist to join our team. The successful candidate will conduct soil sampling and analysis, provide recommendations for soil amendments, and help implement sustainable agricultural practices.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough analysis of soil samples for chemical and biological properties.
• Provide evidence-based recommendations for soil fertility management.
• Develop and implement educational programs for farmers on soil health.
• Collaborate with local agricultural agencies to promote sustainable practices.
• Record and analyze soil test results for ongoing projects.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of implemented soil management plans.
• Participate in industry conferences to share knowledge and findings.
• Support the team in research initiatives and grant applications.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Soil Science, Environmental Sciences, or related field
• Master's degree in Soil Science or Agriculture preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of relevant experience in the agricultural sector.
