Job Description

As a Pesticide Handler, Sprayer, and Applicator, you'll play a vital role in the health of our vegetation by applying pesticides, fungicides, and other essential chemicals. We are looking for individuals with a keen eye for detail and a strong commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Operate spraying equipment efficiently and safely.
• Follow Integrated Pest Management (IPM) practices.
• Participate in ongoing training regarding pesticide application and safety.
• Assist with tree pruning and maintenance as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience

• 1-3 years of relevant experience, preferably in orchard management or sustainable practices

Technical Skills

• Pest Identification
• Safety Protocols

Soft Skills

• Communication Skills
• Problem-Solving Skills

Certifications

• Integrated Pest Management Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with GPS and Mapping Tools: Hands-on experience using technology for better application of pesticides.
• Training in Safety Management: Certification in safety management practices relevant to agricultural environments.
