Job Description

As a Sandblasting Supervisor, you will be at the forefront of managing sandblasting operations, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards. You'll coordinate a skilled team, execute project plans, and maintain equipment to achieve optimal productivity.

Responsibilities

  • Direct a team of sandblasting operators, ensuring the completion of projects on time and within budget.
  • Create daily work schedules while considering team strengths and project demands.
  • Maintain strict adherence to safety procedures to prevent workplace accidents.
  • Assess and rectify equipment malfunctions, overseeing maintenance and repairs.
  • Control and manage the inventory of sandblasting materials.
  • Foster a team-oriented environment through training and mentorship.
  • Work closely with clients and project managers to clarify project expectations.
  • Keep comprehensive records of project activities and equipment metrics.
  • Initiate process improvements to elevate operational efficiency and product quality.
  • Address any operational challenges as they arise to minimize disruption.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Training in project management preferred
Experience
  • At least 4 years of experience in production or sandblasting operations, including supervisory experience.
