Receiving Operator

Job Description

We are searching for a dedicated Receiving Operator to oversee the receipt of goods and materials in our warehouse. You'll be responsible for meticulous documentation and collaboration with various departments to resolve any discrepancies.

Responsibilities

• Verify the accuracy of incoming shipments by cross-checking with purchase orders.
• Document and report discrepancies in received goods immediately.
• Ensure all safety protocols are followed during operation of material handling equipment.
• Engage in ongoing training to improve skills and efficiency within the receiving department.
• Support team-oriented projects aimed at optimizing warehouse operations.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Preferred experience in receiving or warehousing operations.

Technical Skills

• Basic math skills
• Computer skills

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in a fast-paced distribution center: Ability to thrive in dynamic environments with high volume.
