Kiln Car Repairer

Job Description

We are looking for a Kiln Car Repairer to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in repairing and maintaining kiln cars used in ceramic manufacturing processes. This role is essential for ensuring the efficiency and safety of our production operations.

Responsibilities

• Identify and troubleshoot problems with kiln cars and respond promptly.
• Ensure all work is performed following safety protocols and industry best practices.
• Assist in training new team members on kiln car maintenance procedures.
• Perform welding and metalworking tasks as needed for repairs.
• Support the production team by ensuring kiln cars are in top-working order.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical diploma or certification in welding or metalworking preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience repairing and maintaining kiln cars

Technical Skills

• Kiln Car Maintenance
• Hydraulic Systems Knowledge
• PLC Systems Familiarity

Soft Skills

• Analytical Thinking

Certifications

• Certified Welding Inspector (CWI)
• OSHA Safety Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
