Job Description

The Elevator Repairer Helper supports experienced technicians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of elevators and escalators. This role requires a keen attention to detail and a commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Help in the installation, maintenance, and repair of elevators.
• Document daily activities and report on issues encountered.
• Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are up to standard.
• Support lead technicians during repairs to ensure efficiency.
• Participate in risk assessments and safety audits.
• Assist in troubleshooting problems with escalators and lifts.
• Follow all company protocols regarding service and safety.
• Interact with customers to explain the work done.
• Keep up with industry changes and safety regulations.
• Support the development of service reports and work orders.

Requirements

Education

• Completion of an Elevator Repairer Helper apprenticeship program preferred

Experience

• Experience in a maintenance or construction role is a plus.
