Job Description
The Set-Up Operator is responsible for setting up and operating machinery to produce high-quality products in a safe and efficient manner. This role encompasses a variety of responsibilities from routine maintenance to quality assurance inspections.
Responsibilities
Conduct initial setup of machines including adjusting settings and calibrating tools.
Monitor machinery during production runs for efficiency and safety.
Maintain accurate production records and machine logs.
Participate in team meetings to discuss production targets and issues.
Conduct post-production inspections to ensure finished products meet specifications.
Assist in the training of new employees on machine operations and protocols.
Work closely with maintenance technicians to perform preventive maintenance.
Requirements
Education
Technical diploma or credential in manufacturing or related field
Experience
2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
