We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Dock Supervisor to take charge of daily operations in our bustling dock facility. The right candidate will have strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of logistics, and the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily dock operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
• Manage a team of dock staff, providing training and guidance.
• Track shipments and inventory levels, ensuring accuracy in records.
• Work closely with management to implement process improvements.
• Conduct safety audits and ensure adherence to protocols.
• Collaborate with logistics teams to meet deadlines and optimize routes.
• Prepare performance reports and respond to operational challenges.
• Support the loading and unloading of goods efficiently.
• Ensure proper maintenance of dock equipment.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma required, with further qualifications in logistics preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role within logistics or warehouse operations
